Kareem is responsible for leading the company to deliver specialized digital transformation success, advanced IT security and compliance in the MEA region. He helps clients navigate every stage of the digital transformation lifecycle from defining transformation goals to implementation and evaluation using proven global frameworks and best practices adapted to local markets. He is also responsible for providing full support and assigning the right people, making funds and resources available, removing barriers that slow transformation, deploying a future-fit ERP, and providing C-suite and ERP support for the digital strategy. His role is to become the company champion for digital transformation by communicating the imperative for change and the vision for the transformation to the broader organization, focusing on the implications for the stakeholders affected (including employees, customers, shareholders, and the board, as well as the broader community). He is also responsible for accelerating a successful digital transformation by focusing on five areas: developing a clear digital strategy; building an agile organization; creating a culture of innovation; acquiring new capabilities; and executing with excellence.

Kareem has over 23 years of experience delivering enterprise-scale projects, mega cloud computing projects, Azure cloud migrations, FSI business solutions implementation, mission-critical enterprise support, software architecture, SDLC, and agile project management in the ME and GCC regions, throughout his tuenure at Microsoft as Services Delivery Director and at EFG-Hermes as Head of Software Development. He led teams that deliver mission-critical products and services to customers.Karem always aspirse for opportunities to make a difference and formulate technology initiatives that change how companies do business in the region. He is certified in Edinburgh Business School MBA, IASA Certified Architect, Microsoft Certified Professional, and a member of FIX Trading Community.

Hisham is responsible for leading the company’s Digital Transformation, Data & Sustainability consultancy. This includes engaging with customers on defining Digital Transformation Roadmap, Data Strategy and managing sustainability regulatory compliance. He guides the team responsible for researching new tools for the within different business lines and acting as a consultant to other customer. Hisham is the face of the transformation, sets the tone, spurs enthusiasm, and challenges current wisdom. He has the objective to guide the team make the organizations fitter so as to sustain the effort over the longer term. He is responsible on managing the team eliciting, challenging, and prioritizing requirements using standard processes and templates, and translating them into functional design and use case documents. He leads the identification and analysis of business drivers to develop risk and controls requirements. He regularly instructs, directs and checks the work of Business Analysts & Consultants. He also acts as a team leader for projects with large budgets or of a long duration.

Hisham Mortada, is Microsoft veteran with more than 25 years of experience in the IT Industry. Hisham has worked across different data workloads OLTP, OLAP, DW, Analytics and Reporting across different industries such as Government, Education, Banking, Manufacturing, pharmaceutical and Mining. He started his career a little bit prior to SQL Server 7.0 and has been working with Microsoft for 16 years and 5 months. During his tenure at Microsoft, he held different positions such as Digital Advisor, Cloud Solution Architect, Application Platform Solution Specialist, Technology Solutions Professional and Data Platform Technology Solutions Professional. Hisham managed many successful large scaled Digital Transformation Projects across MEA region as well as Africa. He also worked at Pfizer Inc which enabled him to build solid experince in the medical/ pharmacutical domain.

Mohamed is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of technology resources within an organization and works with the team to guide customers to the same practices. He guides customer to develop policies and procedures and use technology to enhance products and services that focus on external customers. He is also responsible for ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely for our customers. He works with the team to evaluate new systems and infrastructure implementations. Mohamed also acts as a team leader for projects with large budgets or of a long duration, and works first-hand with complex technology/architecture customers as needed.

Mohamed has an impressive career spanning over 27 years in the Financial Sector, Software Development & Infrastructure. He is currently the CEO of InTheKloud, one of the main shareholders in THNK Consultancy. Previously, he worked as the Head of Software Development at Beltone Financial and EFG-Hermes. Mohamed has been involved in various technologies and business solutions, utilizing up-to-date technologies and patterns to solve both simple and sophisticated business problems. He believes that engineering and business complement each other, which is why he acquired his MBA from a reputable university. He continues to self-train on high-end technologies to stay up-to-date.

Mohamed is a strong believer in teamwork and prioritizes team development and motivation without compromising project success factors. 

Majd is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business development and partner strategies to heighten company profitability. His duties include leading a team of business development and sales professionals, identifying business opportunities, and tailoring strategic partner programs. Majd supports business growth processes in his leadership position for the business development department.

Majd started his career with Microsoft in the EMEA region as Product Manager for Security, Management, and Virtualization. He later transitioned to managing multinational partner relations as Multinational Accounts Lead. Upon moving to Canada he joined Sherweb, as Partner Network Marketing Manager, where he was privileged to contribute to the company’s impressive growth to Canada’s leading Cloud Service Provider; and recognition as two times Microsoft Cloud Partner of the Year. He later joined CompTIA, as Director of Canadian and Australian Membership Communities, and he is currently running the Microsoft Partner programs for AppRiver OpenText. His passion is simple and lies in helping their partners grow their business.

Mostafa has extensive hands-on experience in various business domains including telecommunications, financial and smart cities industries with a focus on digital transformation. He is experienced in the architecture of complex technological projects in various layers including infrastructure, data management (IOT platforms and integration platforms) and data presentation and analysis (BI, Data mining and big data analytics). He has proven program management skills. He has demonstrated leadership skills in leading and mentoring individuals to maximize the level of productivity. He has a proven set of soft-skills, global delivery, multi-culture experience, team playing and leading, client-facing capabilities through a wide range of projects with clients in the USA, Europe and the Middle East.

Zaki is responsible for our Security Consultancy Team. The team delivering our wide range of security assessments and deliveries. From our point of view at THNK Consultancy we see Security as a pivotal pillar of Digital Transformation. Hence, Zaki’s team works hand in hand with digital transformation experts to ensure customers transform securely and safely. He ensures the safety and security of company data, and assets. They develop and oversee policies and programs to prevent and respond to security risks, such as data breaches, phishing, malware,  and compliance issues. They may also be involved in strategic planning and initiatives, such as M&A, transformation, partnerships, and cost reduction.
