CardWalleter support
Photograph a card, check what was read, and add it to Apple Wallet. Here are answers to the questions people ask most.
How do I add a card?
Tap + and choose Scan card to photograph the front, then the back, or Choose photos to pick two photos you already have. Check what was read, tap Save, then open the card and tap Add to Apple Wallet.
Something was read wrong.
Before you save, every value on the review screen can be edited, and a value you clear is left off the pass. To change a saved card, delete it and scan it again.
My card's barcode looks different on the pass.
Apple Wallet shows four barcode types: QR, PDF417, Aztec and Code 128. Other barcodes are converted to Code 128 with the same number, and the review screen tells you when that happened. Test it at the counter, and keep the plastic card until it works.
Add to Apple Wallet shows an error.
Signing the pass needs an internet connection. Check your connection and tap Try again. Your card stays saved in the app.
How do I lock the app?
Open Settings from the gear button and turn on Lock with Face ID (or Touch ID). Your iPhone passcode works as a fallback.
Can I use it for bank cards?
You can save a picture of any card, but a pass is not a payment card: it cannot pay. Only your bank can add a card to Apple Pay. Leave numbers you do not want stored off the pass on the review screen.
